* Heterozygous (1 copy) for GPT gene mutation that can cause reduced ALT liver enzyme activity. This is medically relevant as baseline ALT levels may be "low" or "low-normal" in a dog with 1 copy of GPT, and a "normal" or "high-normal" reading might be considered abnormal.
