December 28, 2022 - The results of the 2022 Virtual Dog Show Year-End Invitational are in! Conformation classes were judged by Caleb Lees, and Novelty classes were judged by June Kelly. The results are as follows:

December 4, 2022 - Shiva's back! I wasn't worried she would forget me after 8 months, but I'm happy to say she clearly didn't!
She looks fantastic, and I know she was well cared for. Thank you to Charity for accommodating us coming up to get her this weekend, and to my mom for being my road-trip buddy this weekend! Now we just have to make the 12 hour drive back (worth it!)

November 1, 2022 - I'm happy to learn that all 3 of my dogs finished as #1 for the breed in at least one division for the 2022 VDS virtual dog show season, and have been invited to participate in the online Year End Qualifier. Kodi finished as #1 Regular and Altered, Shiva was #1 Bred By Exhibitor, and Zorro was #1 Baby Puppy and Novice Puppy. These shows are always such a fun way to raise money for canine charities, and the friendly competition is awesome. Congrats to all the winners!
October 18, 2022 - Today my pack suffered an unimaginable loss. Less than 48 hours after the onset of symptoms, an aggressive case of parvovirus took baby Zara from us. I believe she picked it up at last weekend's show, and in spite of being vaccinated and receiving treatment just 19 hours after the symptoms began, it was already too late; her little body just wasn't able to win the fight.
I am absolutely devastated. She was only here for 50 days, but she fit in so well from day one it felt like she had always belonged here. She was the sweetest, easiest, most good-natured puppy I have ever known. I had so many plans for the adventures we would have together, from shows to sports to just cuddling and playing together, and in the future I had hoped to breed her to produce more of the same wonderful temperament.
All of that has been ripped away in less than 2 days, and I am still reeling as I try to navigate moving forward without her. Even though my heart is breaking, I'm still so grateful for the memories we made together. Rest easy, Zara, and wear your silver harness proudly. I love you.

October 9, 2022 - Kodi and Zara had a very good weekend at the Oklahoma American Eskimo Dog Club (OAEDC) UKC shows! We had to leave early during Show 1 on Saturday, so both went BOB Altered and Puppy but we didn't get to stay for BIS or Show 2.
Today they knocked it out of the park, with Kodi taking Rerserve Best Altered In Show and Zara earning a Best Puppy In Show! The entries were great this year, with 8 altered dogs and 12 puppies in BIS! That also leaves Kodi with 3/5 legs toward his ALGCH.
Thank you to the club for hosting another awesome event; OAEDC is always my favorite show of the year. Thank you to all of the judges, and congrats to all the other winners! (And HUGE thank-you to Lydia Jorgenson for helping me take the photos!)

Both of them earned the newest specialty title from DMWYD, the A+ (Teacher's Pet). They are the 1st and 2nd Siberians to earn it worldwide, and the 20th and 21st dogs of all breeds! 🥇🥈
Zara also earned her SSH and SOR titles from DMWYD, and her OD-JP1, OD-JP2, and OD-JP3 from Outdoor Dog.
6 titles on a puppy in the first 6 days here is definitely a record for me. I'm absolutely blown away by this girl! We had an absolute blast, and she absorbs new tricks like a sponge. I'm so excited to keep trying new activities with her. 🥰

August 28, 2022 - Rys N Hy New Horizons At Kodivaro, aka "Zara," finally came home yesterday from Rys N Hy Siberians in Missouri.
It was a long day for both of us, but she took it all in stride and settled in with no issues.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I have NEVER had a puppy settle so quickly in the crate on their first night! 90 seconds of crying and then out like a light. She also slept on my chest the entire way from Kansas City to my mom's house in Tulsa, just like Zorro did a year ago.
She's a lovely girl with a fantastic temperament, and the boys already both love her. I can't wait to see where we'll go together. Thank you so much for this angel of a pup, Alicia Renea Rys! I hope you don't want her back, because I'm not giving her up now!

July 24, 2022 - Certificates of completion for all of GoodDog's Good Breeder Center online Education courses. I went through each one, and found them very informative. Some were more of a refresher for information I'd learned before, but most offered some unique perspectives and information I'm definitely going to be considering moving forward!

June 4, 2022 - Kodi had a great day at the MASCUSA ATT Tests in Broken Arrow, OK. He passed both tests (the 2nd one with a perfect score!) and can now add the ATT title to his name!

April 4, 2022 - I'm excited to hear that "The Igloo," the Siberian pedigree database that I was contacted about last year, has finally begun! The site is now live at https://siberianigloo.com.
Thank you so much to Rebecca Cao for taking over the database I began building nearly 5 years ago. Your knowledge and tech-savvy has grown this project far beyond what I could have achieved alone, and I know it will benefit the Siberian breed and its fanciers for years to come!
(My own personal database will still remain saved on my computer, so those 25,000 records won't be going anywhere. However, I will be removing them from my website as they are now all available on The Igloo along with many more.)

April 2, 2022 - My Siberian pack is temporarily down to 2 (and no, that's not a belated April Fool's joke.) Today my mother and I made the 14-hour round trip to Iowa so Shiva could be picked up for an extended stay at the Château de Echoing Wind!
She'll be staying with her breeders/co-owners Charity Reger and Robin Malchow for the next 12-18 months. They'll show her to her AKC championship, and then it will be time for her to have some baby divas of her own at Echoing Wind Siberians. I'm going to miss her like crazy (I already do) but I can't wait to see her strutting her stuff in the ring and enjoying the snowy Minnesota winter!
Give her a kiss for me, guys - I'll be cheering all three of you on from down here!

February 20, 2022 - The Virtual Dog Show group held a fun match as a flash fundraiser to help cover medical expenses for Drago, service animal and heart dog of the show's original founder, Linda Rusinko. There were all kinds of categories, nearly 500 entries overall, and all entry funds went directly to Drago's medical fund.
All 3 of my dogs participated, and the results were as follows:
Kodi: 4th Place Adult, 1st Place Puppy, 1st Place Sit
Shiva: 2nd Place Sit, 3rd Place Birthday Dog, 2nd Place Black and White Photo
Zorro: 4th Place Black and White Photo, 3rd Place Flower Child
